Hide and SeekA Poem by InyourshadowJust relaxing with my muse Jacob.Jacob let's play hide and seek go hide I'll count to ten one two now miss a few and here I come again He's not beneath the table he's not behind the chair he's not inside the cupboard oh I thought he would be there He's not upon the window sill or hiding in my shoes oh I hope that I can find him as I do so hate to lose. He's not hiding in the flower vase or amongst my figurines I even checked the pockets of my well worn levi jeans He's not skulking soft behind me he's not been playing fair cause I think that I can see him in the mirror over there He's such a little rascal his face set in a grin sitting upon my shoulder as if to say " I let you win." © 2011 InyourshadowReviews
