Breathless

Breathless

A Poem by Inyourshadow
"

Smoking is self abuse

"

Pressed against my lips
I breath you in

my self abuse
my coming death
and I am damned by mine own hand
once more

as your
carbon monoxide kisses
burn my lips

and leave me forever

breathless.

Phewwwwww - now that hits the spot! Brilliantly worded!
The flow to this one is wonderfully carrying and such emotion again..I like this piece a lot..there is such a loss of the self here and realisation..superb!

I am slave to this same addiction, it is one of the hardest habits to quit I should know I have had other ones as well and was able to quit them... Smoking I have tried and tried and cannot quit.... maybe someday I will conquer it but for not I think I will light another ;)
