In the missing is the longing
in the longing the desire
in the seperation wanting
and the wanting will not tire
in the yearning the emotion
the emotion never shown
in the act of never showing
the loneliness as grown
in the growing is the empty
in the empty is the hole
in the hole is where you find me
rescue me now body and soul

Aren't I always honest, Shadow? I thought those last three lines of the poem were really effective. They really shout out the speaker's pain to the reader. It makes them realize how real and blatant the speaker's message is. I really love those last three lines because they were just shoved into my face. So raw and terrible.
Beautiful pain, Shadow. Just beautiful.
