On the outside looking in

On the outside looking in

A Poem by Hecate Zariah

I'm on the outside looking in, wishing you'd be the one to see
I've watched you from a far, admiring the silly things you do
You barely see me and normally always ignore me
I'll stand by watching until I'm seen, waiting for the day you finally see
I can be the girl for you, I can make you happy
I see in your clouded eyes how sad you are and
how every time I come by some of that cloud goes away
You may not see it, but I do
We have a connection, you have yet to find it
I'm on the outside looking in, just now,
I'm waiting for that chance, for it to be,
Just you and me

Really good poem. I am surprised no one has reviewed this yet. Dude, Jessica, don't hide your talent. You got serious talent here. Keep up the writing.
