You never seemed to care....if I cried these tears.....
You made me smile and laugh.....though I could see everybody's sneers

I'll never forget that smile....that laugh.....the way you dress.....or how you act.......

I see now.....you never loved me...you lied and I bought it......
I wish I could tell you exactly how I feel.....but it'd be a waste of breath......just in one ear and out the other.....

Beautifully written piece. It's amazing how being in love can keep someone fixated on another for so long. The time passes by so quickly thinking about that person, but at the same time it's one of the longest wait ever trying to get that person to fall in love too. You showed this really nicely throughout the poem! Excellent.
