InsecureA Poem by Dead
The voices in my head shout,
How are you and him going to work out. Because you are nothing, He is everything, You are worthless, He is priceless, And you are nobody, While he is somebody, It echos in my ears, It's making me close to tears, They talk all night, And the sad part is they're right, I'm to insecure, Way too unsure, The voices say he's here because of pity, Because I'm nowhere near pretty, They say I should just pick up the knife, Because without him what do I have in life, I have parents who fight, Day and night, Friends who use me, Even when I'm drowning in misery, And people who pretend to care, But when I need them they're never there, But, it's not voices telling me this you see, It's really only me.
