![]() When The Sun SinksA Poem by Dead
When the sun starts to sink,
My thoughts are so frantic I can barely think, My heart starts to beat faster, My head is filled with demonic laughter, But I know from the way the demons rhyme, That the voice inside my head is mine, Fear sometimes keeps me awake, When I hear a noise in the dark I start to quake, I always hear there warning, That if I go to sleep I wouldn't wake up in the morning, There's so many ways to die, Just thinking of them all I want to hide and cry, You could die in your sleep, You could die counting sheep, You could die by a spider, Or by a viper, About all of this I think, When the sun starts to sin.
