Lost

When you lose someone you hold dear

It's like the world stops for a while

It's like headlights for deer

You can't breathe move or smile

But it'll be okay

You have to live another day

Even though days without them go by

And all you can do is sit there and cry

Tell yourself life will get better

It may be a truth or a lie

But it'll help you even as you remember their good bye.

Sometimes life doesn't work the way it's suppose to and you lose your best friend, your lover, your family, or just a person close to you. But all you can do is fake a smile fake a laugh and cry if you need to until you're strong enough to move on. Life's not fair...

Sometimes they don't even have to say goodbye... They can still be there, or they can act like they still are, and say they still care, but you KNOW it isn't really true, and that makes it even worse.
