Insecurity

Insecurity

A Poem by Dead

This insecurity inside of me
Feels my life with misery
It tells me I'm worthless
It says I'm useless
It whispers in my ear, "He loves her not you."
It hurts so much I don't know what to do
I want to flee
At even the possibility
Of getting hurt again
And even though I know it's a sin
I contemplate on making myself not breathe again....

He looks at her with tears in his eyes,
Watches her pain as she cries,
that demon filling her head with lies.
He goes to his love an tries,
To make things better and wipe the bitter tears from her eyes.
He tells her of the the truth,
He tells her the eternal rest she seeks is not sweet,
He smiles and recalls the day they would meet.
He comforts her and holds her,
He'll never leave her or hurt his love.
For one fact he is sure,
This girl is an angel in disguise and will help him fly like a dove.
Soar thru the Skies with love. :)
