The texture of death glittering on my tongue Holding such power and prestige To reign over mortal instruments Manipulating their petty fates as I pleased Plaguing them with endless pain Crushing the love they had Becoming a monstrosity greatly guarded me Without care I reveled their despair I had waited centuries to watch them strangle on their self conceit To know true defeat © 2014 Darkened_drear |
