Tears Have Fallen

I'm sitting alone crying over someone who won't pick up the phone
Each heartbreak has it's own
All I need right now is you here with me
Yet you are to self absorbed to see
This pain that's rumbling around
That the happiness is going down
I don't want to be alone tonight
Expect I can't figure out if it will cause a fight
Wanting your arms wrapping around my side
Not fearing nor needing that instinct to hide
So where do we go from here?
Why can I no longer feel you near?
Just this once... That's all I need
Maybe I don't have to resort to weed
But I need you now more than ever
What happened to our never?
You promised me you wouldn't disappear again
Here you are letting those demons win
So I'm here sitting crying alone wishing for a ghost
Funny how the one I love is causing pain the most.

Very heart wrenching. Sensitivity and emotion pouring from every line. You do bring up some very interesting points, starting with no phone calls and ending with demons which possess the soul. A lot of tearing up inside, making the whole feeling of sadness and pain. I felt this deeply.

If you imagine this as a spoken piece, delivered to the one breaking your heart. Do you think it is disjointed ???
We often concentrate more on the rhyme than the content, the we being all of us that attempt rhyming verse, often to the detriment of the poems meaning.

I do focus on the ryhme to help it flow better but I do believe that if I read this to the one who caused this poem to be written then it would make sense. My thoughts aren't ever just straight, they go all over the place which so do my poems. To others it may not make complete sense because it jumps from one thought To the next but if you knew the background then it would. But I understand what you are asking, and that certainly is going to be in my mind next time I write. Thanks for the feedback.

Well thank you. I know that many people only try and help me improve on my writing. And if it's only criticism then I try and ignore it. But overall, I'm glad people give me their feedback only helps me get more into my writing :)
