Do you hear her?A Poem by AngelCries herself to sleep No one can hear her weep Even though her sister’s a couple feet above her Never can things go back to where they were She feels so alone and also lost Getting to see them show their true colors but at what cost This girl she wanders this endless hall Wanting only to make that call Something holds her back by the end of her shirt Pounding aimlessly on the door even after it hurts Inside she is slowly becoming hollow She’s confused on who to follow Been caught in between this cruel battle of love and hate Staring ahead wondering if it’s too late She whispers in the dark “Help.” © 2017 Angel |
