Chapter Four

"So why are you going to Tennessee?" I asked the second day of driving with her.
    "My brother lives there." she said plainly.
    I nodded my head. "So what's your story?" I asked.
   Rebecca frowned a bit. "Well my mom died during death, so I was put in a orphanage. I met Jason at seven, my brother he's more or less just a close friend, but when I was eleven and he was seventeen he was sent off with the NZK to try to kill the zombies. The NZK sent me to Jamaica when I was around twelve years old. They started to make a community within a small town, for there was no outbreak. About a week ago they decided I was causing to much trouble and kicked me out. Right before they sent me away I got a letter from my brother saying he was Tennessee.
    There was a probably and instead of bringing me near Tennessee they sent me to the tip of Florida. I found a gun with a small handgun," she shifted the gun into her other hand. "I hot wired the car and with my luck the battery died. I accidentally caught the attention of two zombies and soon there was more. Then you came and saved my life, and here I am!"
    I nodded my head, it made sense and I could tell she wasn't lying about herself although I was. Maybe she couldn't sense my first lie. Or maybe she did and didn't want to push me. It didn't matter, she doesn't know me so most likely she is believing me. I looked into the review mirror and I was a mess. Blood was all over my face, my short hair was in a frenzy, my green cat eyes were wild, and I was pale.
     "What's your story." Rebecca said curiously.
    "Um I don't remember really." I lied, I thought about it almost everyday, it couldn't escape my mind. When were the constant lies going to stop? Not now.
    She smiled as if saying okay, okay I getcha but I will find out one way or another.
