Choices

Choices

A Poem by Corinna Bridgebury
"

Grilled Cheese or Exotic Pasta?

"

Life is full of choices

It's cliche but true.

I've known it all along

But suddenly the choices

Have become much more

Pronounced, more imprtant, and

I have to decide soon.

While both choices are

Equally appetizing

I very different ways.

Like grilled cheese, simple,

dependable, versus

That exotic pasta plate

That smells wonderful, but

It's never been tried before

So who knows how it tastes

Or how well it'll agree

With your stomach?
