Glass Walls: End

Glass Walls: End

A Poem by Corinna Bridgebury
"

Third and Last.

"

See shattered glass
A pool of blood
No more walls.
You will not find
My corpse here
Or anywhere at all.

A trail of bloody footprints
Leads into the distance
Leads you to me.
Covered in scars,
Unable to fly;
At least I can walk free.

Oh...I like the way that you've tailed this one off. So very moving, this walk into freedom from a place of abject squalor and imprisonment.
