The Feelings That Weigh On Me

Heavy heart
Heavy burden

I've made a grave mistake
And I know that if we talk
At the end of it
It all lies upon you
To tell me which direction
My feelings need to go

I'm not ready for it
Cause I know
That my heart could soar
Or could be shattered in pieces

The latter scares me
Cause I know I can't go through it
I don't know how much strength
There is left in me to pick up
And continue on

And if the other choice?
I still feel so much distance
Will it be a set up?
For ruin and heartbreak?
Even if it is beautiful for a while

Scared to move forward with you
Don't want to look back

What an awful predicament this is
