Time moves forward. The longing lasts.

It's Love's fault.

Is it mine?

It's definitely hers.

We both were wrong.

So quickly to fall in,

and so quick to go back,

to our daily mundane life.

Life sucks.

You said it yourself.

And you believed in it.

In other's opinions.

But,

you didn't believe in yourself.

And that's why we are lost now.

I look at the sky where it's cloudy

The clouds move fast.

And so did our time.

I remind myself of our times.

Ours,

Or mine.

Was it even a thing?

I miss you.

I miss us.

Nicely written. Aah, love, when it works out it's the most beautiful thing ever; when it doesn't it instills in us a sense of loss greater than we've ever known, doubt creeps in, most of the time, we doubt our love, things don't work out, then we keep wondering till death what went wrong and why, as much as we try to get over it; but the heart does heal a little, some people's hearts, some hearts turn to stone, moving on is the most difficult thing to do

Moving on is very hard but you got to prepare your heart before that happens , no expectations.

There are moments of deep connection in life, when we feel a sense of elation and fulfilment - and the circumstance overwhelms us and we can never fulfill our longings. I had this sense from this lovely heartfelt writing, of a moment cherished and a moment lost. Time overtakes us and we can only have lingering memories, a mixture of sweetness, in this case, and of loss.
