May be forgotten.A Poem by IntothemilkywayShe said , "You'll remember when i'm gone." These words remind me of the time we were together. Nothing less nothing more. But i'm lost now. I can't do a single thing. So he said. Sad and lonely , continued ... Repeating. One phrase That's all it was. But in the end... "You'll remember when #### is gone."
echoing that ephemeral moment We shared, held together Nothing less, nor more Unspoken: without breath To convey our grief//my solitude Amaranth regret haunting What I've become Lingering within Your distant nebulous Eyes//Refracting Cadenced verse of Fractured waves Upon black-shored Mnemonic tides A singular word An evermore lament Forsaken In erstwhile embrace © 2020 IntothemilkywayAuthor's Note
