In a dead place , life may be reborn again.

You stole my summer

And i put winter into your heart.

Autumn pured it's leafs,

And spring brought flowers again.

Your poem makes me question why we humans expect relationships to always dwell in the summertime feelings of warmth. Why not acknowledge & embrace the way relationships go thru all the different seasons, too! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Really enjoyed the opener over responding to the theft of a Summer by “putting winter into their heart”.
I guess Revenge really is a dish best served cold.

But there’s hope...Autumn brought about preparation. Fun fact: my top name if I have a daughter one day is Autumn.

Then Spring “springs” forth beauty out of an ugly situation.
