I wanted you to come with me
I wanted you to fight.
I wanted you to hope for me
I wanted you to try.

You really broke my heart, you know
You really hurt my dreams
What really made it all a joke
Was I thought you were my need.

You then became my closest friend
It was after when you became my pride
What started as a pity laugh,
You were to who I would confide.

But now you want me back?
You choose now to see?
What all the things you slowly lacked,
now you decide you want me?

I know if you tried your best,
I'd start to wonder if
What could've happened, could've been
If you never ended it.

I guess I may accept your plee,
Perhaps I'll let you stay
And maybe you are all I need
forever, every single day.

I'm still very confused now,
I still don't understand
I hope somehow you'll show me how
you could've been a better man.

Just tell me one thing,
don't lie or leave any out
Will it always be me,
or am I another doubt?

I don't want to hurt again, you see
for you stole what I never had
But the way your begging for me,
