Just For A Day

Can we pretend to be something else?

I may not be something special,

but can we pretend just for a day?

That maybe I'm a rockstar,

or that people listen to waht I have to say?

Maybe I could be a scholar,

or invent something new. 

Maybe I could be the one

who puts the stars in the sky for you. 

I just want to change the world

or maybe just some attention. 

Is some hope for tomorrow

just a little too much to mention?
