It's a single moment

in time

preserved forever. 

It is your child's 

first steps

for all to see, 

it is your backyard,

the mountains, 

the ocean, the sea. 

It is history captured

as it happened, 

as it's going to. 

It is pets and friends, 

the first plane

as it flew. 

It is childhood, 

it is memories, 

a trip back in time. 

It is my way of

remembering back

when you were mine.
