Fear

My warnings fell away
off your silvery skin

the fire in your eyes

was from so deep within

I told you don't confront you fears

but you didn't listen

I gave you warnings of pain and tears

and you simply dismissed them

And I watched you slip

then fall so very deep

into a bottomless pit

I knew you couldn't succeed

I prayed you'd prove me wrong

but I watched your fire die

I waited for so long

for you to come back to life

But your fear had took control

and you simply lost your life

nightmares stole your soul

and out went your light.

this is incredible! Why do you have to be so goow?!?!? Makes me feel bad because i feel like my poetry is awful compared to this. It seems to capture the fears of those who have something to lose.
