The Earth-Based on the Song from Pocahontas-Colors of the wind

A Poem by Persephone

This poem is based off the song from Pocahontas......Enjoy.

The Earth-Bases on the Colors of The wind song

The Wind whipping colors around the sky

The rainstorm’s rain pounding on the Earth

The River slipping past fast

The Earth is alive

The rocks, trees, and creatures have a spirit and name

The wolves cry to the moon

The bobcat grins

The berries are sun sweet

The Heron sits in the river

The otter builds a sturdy house

We are all connected

In a circling hoop

Never Matter what the skin color is

Paint with the colors of the wind

Sing with all the voices of the mountain

The Earth is connected

As are we

Really nice. Great imagery. It's a message for the ages, do away with colour, race and creed as we all live on Earth; home to a*s all.

This is a good start, I see the connection between the song and this poem. I'm just not sure if your trying to go to the tune of the song or not because that's how I read things when they are based off of a song. So you may want to state it.
