Flowers lead to sadness

Flowers should lead to happiness

but I disagree with that statement.

They don't create happy feelings,

they just create content feelings,

for just a short amount of time.

They are vibrant at first,

then they crumble and die.

Why keep them and hope for life?

Flowers and feelings are temporary,

meant to be vibrant for moments,

not meaning to be immortal.

Why should flowers lead to happiness,

when all they do is bring sadness?
