I'm Sorry

I'm Sorry

A Poem by Catherine Frain

My dearest,

Please forgive me.

I have ruined the balanced life,

You always preferred.

All things must come to an end,

And it just happened to be mine.

I hope you don't mind.

I don't quite have the words for you.

Knowing nothing will calm you down,

After hearing of my passing.

I don't know why I am trying,

All I can picture is you crying.

I'm so sorry, Sophia.

I wish we could have grown old together.

I will see you again, one day.

Till that day,

I will be your guardian angel.

I will protect you now and always.

Love,

Isaiah.
