![]() Sippy CupsA Poem by Mark![]() life transitions, it's the only constant.![]() Was it yesterday or last year? Those plastic things with rubber rings were everywhere? Toddler toes, laughter, and screams. These were my life stepping on them as I chased little ones. The sippy cup in the dishwasher on the floor in the fridge or in chubby little hands. They were everywhere floor to ceiling thrown on my chair giving me 'surprise!' when I sat down. Thrown on the floor when Daddy would growl; a delighted scream escaping as little legs started pumping away. There was a point I don't now remember when sippy cups went away replaced by cans of fizzy sugar water. Soccer, football, basketball games. Driving lessons the prom, and eventually the leaving. I can't remember where the sippy cups went Some box probably. Nor do I recall what the favorites were. And now, it seems like it happened so fast here are my toddlers all grown, buying, sippy cups. ![]() © 2012 MarkReviews
