Starting a relationship in Spring is always a good sign.

Before the tree buds burst

and the winter still held

you heard my voice

and say you knew then.

As Spring blooms into Summer,

we grow to understand

how much alike we are;

in just the right places

I look forward to more seasons

and discovering you;

helping to shape

that which will be called

Us.

Mark - I really like this (and the picture is great!)

I think the first stanza is lovely, really sets the scene nicely, and the last one has a really good rythm to it.

The middle stanza is also mostly good, but I'm forced to question your choice of the word "inevitible". It messes with the flow of the line, and as it's the first line, sets a slightly dodgy pace for the stanza.

Apart from that though, like I said, great poem :)
