A Winter Dream

A Winter Dream

A Poem by Mark
"

Relationships evolve, cycle much like the seasons.

"
The snow was deep
in winter's keep
under the sky's frozen stare,
I felt her weep
deep in my sleep
and wished that I were there.
Begun in the cold
my heart was sold
when we, our souls did share.
in Spring's warm fold
my heart grew bold
so open I did dare.
In Summer's heat
I fell complete
a fool lost in love's air.
Fall fell complete
so bitter, so sweet
I lost what I would share.
Again now winter
my heart asplinter
I long for love so fair.
