The awesomeness of nature is very hard to capture in pictures let alone words. I was walking in the North Woods near Mount Washington in New Hampshire when a storm came and went.
To me at least, this poem seems like the kind I would read in a book somewhere. The skill you put your words together with, particularly the last two sentences, is absolutely incredible. I loved it.
Storms are electrifying, beautiful, and eerie! They can do so much damage, and the power they have is profound. You have captured a gentle side of the Summer Storm, where I envision standing there as "the sky opens and the rain falls"....Beautiful imagery!
