Summer StormA Poem by MarkThe awesomeness of nature is very hard to capture in pictures let alone words. I was walking in the North Woods near Mount Washington in New Hampshire when a storm came and went.Heavy warmth encases the earth, like a sluggish blanket on a restless bed. First the heavy air and then The sky opens and rains fall. Cracked in electric blue, the bright moment quickly fades with the rumble of thunder. As if the sky, seeing the ocean crash on rocks, decided to do it one better. Then did.
