Lost in the Hallways

Lost in the Hallways

A Poem by Mark
"

In the West we are all about the destination, leading to a lack of appreciation for the search or the journey.

"
Fates and faults
and endless doors
feelings sucked down
in boggy moors.
I looked east
and saw no sun
so to the west
but saw no one.
Looking north
no hope I found
I looked south
at no firm ground.
my time wellspent
in these lost halls
I came and went
in climbs and falls.

I really enjoyed this one, such an amazing flow to this.
Loved the rhyme scheme as well. I can feel the rise and fall in this.
Awesome writing!
