This is romantic with a good dose of realism mixed in. I like the sense of "knowing oneself", what works, what doesn't, what's sought "I want a partner, friend, confidant...I need a defender and someone crazy". That's not an unreasonable set of wishes. Like what you did here in this write :) Penny
Sometimes being crazy means to be yourself without any restraints or chains around your soul telling you what to do who to be .... to find someone to take you as you are ... accept the parts you hide or reveal from your personality is what life is all about ... to be loved must be associated with accepting the crazy {you} hidden deep within .... well don't we all have one somewhere .....?
I loved it ... words, syle and all ... thank you

Oh this is just so cleverly and amazingly well written... this was fabbydoo, dude. I loved it. Mumma is so, so proud of her boy. Well done. Loved the expressions and all.
Towards the end I thought of that Patsy Kline song "Crazy." The one Perot used in his ill fated bid for the white house. That was a great song and this is a great poem. Good one Mark

i want a partner i can get crazy with and tell the truth to...someone to walk beside, not behind or in front...one who will take me with all my flaws...two imperfects can really make an almost perfect partnership i think.
