Mother

Mother

A Poem by Mark

Oh little one
face puckered in all the anger
your little heart can muster

Know ye that
above all things,
no matter how or where you may turn,

Ye will always...

 be a part of me.

lovely - succinct and heart melty - I do love my own spawn although I am not sure why my parents ever reproduced. I don't think they ever figured it out either.

The love for one's child … the most enduring and true of all loves. I hear you.

Oh check out my boy, this is amazing... I think when you have a child it's a blessing and when you look at the child you are always going to see your other half in him/her... it's a magical thing.

A fine write that is not afraid to be sentimental, a very human, noble emotion.

When a woman looks at her children she is literally seeing part of herself and a man who truly loves women gets that. Great poem Mark

This is absolutely fantastic. So touching, so warm, so true. Every mother who reads this will be nodding her head as I am. We love our children no matter what they do and not matter how old they are, they are still our babies. I am so pleased I read this. Wonderful work. Great illustrations too. Lydi**
