bringing Spring

bringing Spring

A Poem by Mark
"

I never thought I'd say it but enough Winter!

"
So if I shake, it's just a chill;
remains left of bony fingered Winter.

I keep my eyes closed so
I can bring Spring around me.

I tug at my sweater and
fill my head, heart, and soul.

I gather and build a fact.
The Sun WILL warm me.

The hope that inspired this write is contagious. But if you're here in my country right now, you wouldn't ask the sun to warm you. It's boiling here and we are being fried alive.

Spring is a very lovely, majestic season, and your very few words hold a massive impact for me. I loved this poem. Thanks for sharing.

It may be late but we remember the awe and comfort that Spring affords us. She breathes life into us once more but we are dutiful children so we clutch our sweaters and wait for her to appear and rescue us. I like the imagery very much in this poem.

Thanks for reading ice :)

Spring in the air and in the heart. Lovely read and just in time to greet the first daffodils as they start to bloom.

Sending big warm hugs :)
that's the only thing we can do is close our eyes and pray for spring to come. it's been such a long winter, it's good to keep a positive attitude.

We got 5 inches of snow yesterday in Michigan. Old Winter is holding on. I'm hoping for the Spring days. Poor Grand boys need to go out and play. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
