Expression of AngerA Poem by MarkI have no idea why everything seems to be a cycle for me latelyMy hand, heavy, strikes the mountain. Will and soul empower flesh Thunder bellows down the valley; I have come. Anger, jagged and bright, pours out, and down. Stricken furrows steam open, With a yielding; Earth sighs. Drawing clenched fists I strike again, then again The thunder roars, carrying dissipated by what Earth absorbs. From lightning hot to smoldering red, anger then turns wet running from cheek to Earth. She absorbs these tears and from death, and the pain then anger hot and searing white, finally, the rain reaches seeds, now nurtured, and aching to grow.
