The Death of Another SeasonA Poem by MarkI will miss AutumnWe bid Autumn good bye with naked trees defiantly waiting for Wind to clothe them in ice, snow. Their once bright leaves now cracked lie brown as they return to the Earth. The Shadows of winter whisper in the wind of chilling sleep and white powder blankets to fall from the sky. Chuckling, the numbing breezes are sucked into our lungs releasing cold ghosts giving our heat; to no avail. The Sun has once more grown tired and rests in other parts of the world biding time and giving us to the night for now.
