Pain cure

Pain cure

A Poem by Mark

It starts in my heart
creeps into my soul
poisons my universe

Filling my head
pouring out my eyes
braiding my thoughts

Where is the white?
The sweetness and balm?
I rummage the medicine cabinet for love.

Hard to cure pain. Love is the medicine. I agree. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Ouch...yes...it does saturate, doesn't it? Some days that cupboard seems empty...a cure for most things out there, so it said...I do wonder...enjoyed hon x

Thank you so much for being such a constant reader and reviewer Leslie.
An expressive depiction of that desperate feeling that suffocates us when we feel so loveless. Delivered in a few lines of well chosen words.

Ah ha...I see what you mean. Actually I can relate to that. Hugs back atcha Mark! x
The last line, I felt that, brilliant. Humans share love in an awkward way, unevenly. The title and the last line says just how much some of the humane society (including me) relies on substances. Nice write. Thank you for writing.
