The Light and the Dark

The Light and the Dark

A Poem by Mark

Giving away love
red, white, and black
it keeps growing inside me.

A slow river, life moves to end
reminders of its head
blind and malleable memories.

We swing in sync
while clouds and rain
mix night into day.

Darkness; I can't see
Light blinding, but still
it binds us all together.

I give my love
more comes my way
embraced, we form light and dark.

Light twisted into shadow
I give it to you
and we give it back.

Irish demons
Catholic saints
We tangle into a pile of God.

I love the last stanza. It's like a brawl in heaven

ya, 'a brawl in heaven' exactly! :)
You've created another shadow poem, I like it:

Darkness; I can't see
Light blinding, but still
it binds us all together.

I give my love
more comes my way
embraced, we form light and dark.

I liked the jarring ending as well.
