This is quite beautiful, refreshing really. We touch each other as we move through life and those that leave such fragrant memories are to be cherished if only in our memories.

I think that's where most of the heartaches came from. I think now I love more, and with more abandon without the expectations and enjoying what is unique about those I love. Thanks for reading. :)

What a wonderful and invigorating poem, Mark ! Very nice, thank you. And the imagery reminds me of a scene where you are at a small waterfall, just getting yourself a cool drink. I seem to remember such when I camped one time with Dad.
There was a bit of a river and we went up it and found the clean water passing over some shoals and rocks. I reached into take a drink and it was surprisingly cold and fresh.
Your poem goes right along with this. And have you ever had it rain so hard that you COULD catch water in your hand and drink it ? I know that happened onetime I was with Rachel. That was so crazy it was raining as hard as it could and we were sopping wet from no umbrella at all.
Got in and both took a nice warm shower. :)

I got completely drenched and I swear the lightning was following me! LOL That was a good day when I finally got home, dried off, and warmed up.

But the streets were flooded ! We even saw a frog and ran after to watch him get slurped down the drain and laughed saying his Froggy Kingdom was waiting for him there. Those were fun times with my Mom. She really was the dreamer and got me to believe all sorts of fanciful things. Today ?
Sometimes - I think I still would like to. Like the little boy who lost his fairy palace.
