The Right Zephyr

The Right Zephyr

A Poem by Mark
"

For Frieda.

"
Butterfly, wings scarred and damaged,
Clings and waits,
Knowing the right zephyr will come,
So she can fly again.

Like paper, so delicate are the wings of a butterfly to be carried away, injured, on an absent and anguished wind. Beautifully written, Mark.

Ah, hope, waiting for the that uplifting zephyr to the skies, to freedom. I like that you used words she loves to use in her poems.
