And IA Poem by MarkThere is this one woman...and I loved you the day I saw you outlined in chapel soft light, quietly, you were sitting in a pew. 12 years old and struck in awe Something about the way your eyes pierced the truth the set of calm in your face. and we grew and all the time I didn't know, but I knew down inside, that place that's empty and waiting. and I lost you and we went seperate ways in long dazed, crazed smoke and drink days. and I thought of you from time to time eyes and the halo only I saw, of your clear sight and heart. and I will love you until I've died, even though we may never walk the same ground. Sometimes it feels like I want to cut that part out and throw it away. Today, it just feels like... What matters is not what love makes us feel but what love does; the connection we can't break.
