A Poem by Mark

I felt the horns, hard and prolonged,
Pointed in one direction.

Star shaped, and pointless,
your terrible affection.

Weep you may, but those that hear
are silent in perplexion.

No one knows, no one falls
for tears without connection.

You get the blame and she seeks the sympathy. For some it is easier to blame than accept fault. Nicely penned!

I could feel the depth the lines convey...
Some pain seems so pointless sometimes and everyone cannot connect with our suffering...
'terrible affection' - I could not think of a better way to put it....

"No one knows, no one falls

I like the above lines a lot. A lot of hidden thoughts and memory in the poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
