Ex

Ex

A Poem by Mark

I felt the horns, hard and prolonged,
Pointed in one direction.

Star shaped, and pointless,
your terrible affection.

Weep you may, but those that hear
are silent in perplexion.

No one knows, no one falls
for tears without connection.

I found the mystery of this piece quite intriguing and appreciate how you have pieced this one together, your words have great meaning.

I love the first lines, it does paint a clear picture of your Ex for sure. "Tears without connection",also a great line, you can tell someone like to play the victim in their own pity party. Very well written and to the point.

Spot on... glad you got it.
No one can really know what goes on between two people. I like the sharp edge of this.

Those Ex's will get you every time. Lot of powerful emotions playing in this poem, I like it.

Star shaped and pointless. Wow. I am not sure what it is about that line that just grabs me and hangs on but I love it.

"tears without connection" I like that. You have to wonder why some people cry when they are the ones who did all the damage. Crocodile tears, I think its called. Nice one. Thanks for sharing.

She enjoyed people pitying her. I have no idea why. Thanks for reading
