Skin Deep

Skin Deep

A Poem by Mark

The dust of a star
and comets made mud.
We were formed into halves
wanting to be whole.

The success of the species
is due to it's nature
In stars, and rivers, oceans, and mountains
we see it, we feel it, we deny it, we fantasize it...

attraction.

This is really good I like how you explain all of it by only using the phrase "skin deep" in the title awesome job!

You're welcome Mark anytime!
I'd take out that whole first stanza. For me, the poem really begins with the second.

attraction- yup that is one to think about
I guess we are ecstatic when we find it unless of course we find it in a place we shouldn't*)
like your title choice...it adds to the words you have written
thank you for sharing
