Not really sure

Not really sure

A Poem by Mark
"

to dream and wonder

"
I've been taking the long way lately
To see how I feel in the way you smile
when you look, see what you feel
about this hook by the crook.

To do what I do and notice
you noticing.
Not really sure, not really there
not really here but drinking in.

I let the stars toss that
in the jingle jangle casino.
Praying for a new burst bright
and blinding from the dust.

No answer do they have
but they look pretty
and the galaxy has milk,
while Venus looks charmed.

Sun bursts and radios
hum the static of our attraction
I feel/see the sear, our sizzling senses,
and tongues wet for salvation.

A prayer, a genuflection
a geniune confluence
your ying, my yang
From the darkness, the suns create.

A pleasing read on relationships - the wondering... Should I or shouldn't I become further invested? Where is this gong? Etc... It has a positive, hopeful tone that resonates throughout. Well done, Mark!

Thank you Que Sera Sera :)
some very clever wording and great lines make for a delightful write...."jingle jangle" reminds me of "mr. tambourine man" all in all, a very solid and resonant piece.

You know I love your writes, Mark. This was no different, I loved it. There were some great images in this write and I loved the wording.

You got the flow perfectly, it just rolled of my tongue, no bumps. Perfection.

Well done, my boy xD

A prayer or wish sought out, is one that will come back to you when you least expect it.
A tender array of thoughts...nicely done. :)

Our job to wish and then let it go, and the Universe will figure out the 'how's :)
Another gentle and reflective poem Mark. Sounds like an on-line romance lol!

I had more than a few. It wasn't intentional though, the write I mean LOL
An Internet fantasy at play perhaps. A long distance relationship where it is difficult to measure truth of personality but something calls you to look. Thought the first stanza could be crisper as the use of well twice feels a little cumbersome

I suppose that may have crept in, seeing as how two of you see that in the work! Thanks for reading .. read more
Maybe the stars are watching and smiling to themselves as they watch another love story unfold under their timeless gaze. The wonderment and thrill of a new love exprssed beautifully. I read the poem, smiled and read it again.
