Remembered

Remembered

A Poem by Mark

The naked branches of winter
bones showing; swaying as they catch the snow.
have watched, waited...
contemplated
the voice remembered, the warm breath;
of Spring.

I love your vision Mark, the branch bones against the stark white snow create a vivid picture of winter.

Thanks Claire! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'm glad I saw you today...it reminded me I haven't visited you in quite some time...shame on me. I'm thrilled I chose this one, rather randomly I confess *laugh* because it's positively stunning. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

Not bad. I think you could cut the ellipsis in the third line - might help the flow a little. Good use of imagery. The second line is the best one. Good work.

Thanks for your thoughts. :)
Such a bare, empowerished picture of winter created here....

"bones showing; swaying as they catch the snow" - All nature waiting for redemption from the freezing captivity.

This was exquisite poetry with a great feel to it.
