Broken SailA Poem by MarkDamaged souls finding one another. Story of my life.Tell me I'm too good for your broken spirit. Ask me if I care. The late autumn wind urges me on. It's song of unwinding telling me I am close to being done. I want to take it to the world, to set out sails unfurled, leave on the beach all that doesn't matter. but you; my broken child of grace. Beautiful, mind and soul find the tears and mend them all. while I sail through calm and storm searching for someone whole and warm. Reflections of connections severed and given broken form. Let the ocean heal those wounds sail on and run through that storm. I'll mend what is broken in me. show me where it hurts in you. Let me bandage what I can see, and make us both sail true.
