Two Souls Touched

Two Souls Touched

A Poem by Mark
"

Why are relationships so damn complicated?

"
You touched my soul with yours,
Opened your heart,
Letting your secrets pour over me
Like cold rain surprise.
You touched my laughter and laughed
In our Spring of Discovery
Both of us excited and humgry.
The surprise warm, fulfilling.
I pushed you too much
The wall was too hard
So you drew away
My fault, my surprising pain.
Have I wished, have I prayed
That Spring will renew our laughter
That souls once touched will remember.
That our surprise will return again.

A sad ending to a poem of hope and love. Sometime we make mistakes and hope to have another chance. I like the hopeful ending to the excellent poem.

"humgry" ? Great line "My fault, my surprising pain." Surprise holds it together.
