Reminders

Reminders

A Poem by Mark
"

The world tends to shape itself around our perceptions.

"
My phone insisted we were in Brooklyn the other day.
I rebooted it, silly thing, and found a movie.
It was set in North Carolina.

I Laughed at the sign in Italian,
the radio playing heart and soul
laced in memories of that short past.

I have destroyed what I wanted
and the world won't let me forget.
but if the world won't leave me...

Well, my options are limited.

Perhaps tomorrow the world's
sharp intended reminders
will sink a little less deep.

Perhaps options are unlimited.

"Floating where ever we stare." a very poetic description of a belief I think we both hold. :)
